The Last Halloween short film is ghoulish fun

I stumbled upon The Last Halloween in as random YouTube fashion as can be, and I’m not sorry I did.

The camera work, lighting, production design, performance, directing… it’s all excellent.  The script is a little light, but 10 minutes isn’t much time to say anything, really.  The Last Halloween’s strengths is in its ability to tell a story with visuals rather than painstaking expositional dialogue – the production design, the woman’s performance – these all tell you something about the world where the story takes place without saying a word.

Take the time to watch this short film – I think you’ll dig it.
