Terminator Genisys (Baffling Movie Trailers)

Today on Baffling Movie Trailers: we’ve got Terminator Genisys, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to his signature franchise and an intentional misspelling in the title, so you know it has to be a good movie!

Well, I guess this new Terminator Genisys movie rentcons the entire series, huh? That’s a bold move! I wonder if it’s going to straight up turn into an episode of Star Trek the Next Generation and due to the constant tampering with time, they’ll cause a rip in the space time continuum or something…

Or Back to the Future – whatever you prefer.

So, I guess the Terminators went all the way back to when Sarah Connor was a kid and tried to get her then? And failed? So now we get an alternate 1980s than we saw in the first one… huh. It’s like a very special episode of Terminator or something.

We all know that since Arnold Schwarzenegger is in the flick, he’s going to say, “I’ll be back,” but did they have to put it in the trailer? Sheesh! Now the audience is going to be sitting there, waiting for the helicopter scene… Also, is it just me or do the digital characters look bad? The movie doesn’t open until July 1st, so they have time to clean it up, but again, sheesh.

If the handling of the trailer is anyway indicative of the final product, we should probably be wary of Terminator Genisys but of course reserve final judgement until we actually see the flick.
