Deliver us from Devil? What’s that? (movie poster fun)

I’ve never heard of a movie called Deliver us from Devil.  What’s that?  A horror movie, no doubt.

Oh.

I get it now!  You folks are clever!  See, yeah, I see what you did there!  You used the “D” from “Deliver” to make the word “evil” look like “devil” to do a play on the memorable “Deliver us from evil” line from the Lord’s Prayer as a title for your film!

That’s clever!

Here’s the best part of this entire situation:

Deliver Us from Evil is a 2014 American crime-supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Despite being officially based on a 2001 non-fiction book entitled Beware the Night by Ralph Sarchie and Lisa Collier Cool and a marketing campaign highlighting that it was “inspired by actual accounts”, the film actually does not showcase any of the cases recounted in the book and instead features a completely original plot imagined by Derrickson and co-writer Paul Harris Boardman.  (Wikipedia)

Basically, they’re just pulling whatever they want out of their buttholes.  Kinda awesome.
