Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer is all kablam! BOOM!

So… yeah. Wow.

It seems as though Avengers: Age of Ultron is the beginning of the end of the Age of Heroes (or whatever it’s called in the Marvel Movieverse) and the beginning of a Civil War era… at least, it looks like the heroes are fighting amongst themselves in the trailer.

Now that I’ve gotten a good look at Ultron, I’m pleased – his face is a little too human and not enough ant like, but I guess they’re not going with that origin (Tony Stark created him in the movieverse?) this time around. I can’t wait to see that design.

Here we go again with yet another Captain America costume design – can we stop with that, please? Let’s just use the First Avenger design and get on with our lives.

There’s also what’s not in the trailer. I’ve read everywhere that The Vision is going to be in this movie, but I didn’t see him amongst the chaos anywhere. For those of you who are not dorks, The Vision is like Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation if he could fly… as I’m typing this, I’m realizing how useless this analogy is to normal people. The Vision is an android and he’s awesome – that’s what I’m saying.

Now I’m in full countdown mode! Pumped!

  1. now that I’ve slept on it, the trailer is even more disturbing than I thought.
