Thoughts on Game of Thrones, episode 2, season 1

game-of-thrones-logoI don’t recall the exact title of the second episode of season 1, but might I suggest “don’t touch my human?” I gotta tell you, Game of Thrones, it’s one step forward then two steps back with you.

I’m not surprised that the little boy hasn’t died yet. Letting him linger about makes for more compelling drama. Meanwhile the queen is mean I get it. Game of Thrones insists on beating you over the head with everything. The death one of the wolfs would have been much more compelling if it hadn’t been telegraphed by a mile.

That being said, I must applaud this episode for it’s almost complete lack of senseless nudity and vulgarity. But way to squeeze in some almost girl on girl action.

There are a million characters in this show and I hate almost all of them. Peter Dinklage deserves a medal. I am determined to finish this first season, but I don’t think I have it in me finish the entire series.
