Bad Day at Work? Use the Lloyd Bridges Method of Coping (Airplane!)

1980’s Airplane! is easily the best parody/comedy film of all time. Lloyd Bridges plays McCroskey, the air traffic controller who must manage the crisis on board the airplane from the ground. As the tension mounts, so does McCroskey’s stress levels. Each time he names a vice, the vice get’s worse.

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking."
"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking."

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines."

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."

In a movie full of memorable jokes, for me, this running gag is the most memorable.
