Superman vs The Elite movie review (Mixers and Movie Reviews)

This video review is an outtake from our Man of Steel episode.

Here, we’re jawing about Superman vs The EliteI never really thought about it before, but this movie is sorta the anti Man of Steel.  In Superman vs The Elite, the Last Son of Krypton gets through a battle in traditional Superman fashion…  that is, he doesn’t do what The Man of Tomorrow does at the end of Man of Steel.TECHNICAL NOTES:
This was filmed using a Canon VIXIA HF M300 and edited in Adobe Premiere CS 5.5.  We’re using an 1000 LED light (only half are on) and a 500 LED light (all the bulbs are on), and there’s a few other work lights filling in some gaps.  There are two little work lights trying (and failing) to serve as back lighting in the cramped quarters.  I decided to not use my shotgun condenser mic to record us speaking and just used the in camera mic, which doesn’t sound great, but I cranked the audio in Premier and that helped a little.  I’ve experimented with removing the hiss in Audition, but I’ve encountered codec problems when uploading the files to YouTube, so I didn’t end up using that approach here.  I created some of the titles in Adobe Premier, but I did some additional work in Adobe Photoshop as well.  The music is by, as always, TeknoAXE.com.
