Bear Education And Resource Group organizes protest of New Jersey black bear trophy hunt

The BEAR Group (Facebook) organized a protest of black bear hunting in New Jersey on a cold Saturday morning in front of  Paramus town hall on route 17.
Despite the weather, over 50 people turned out to support the cause and a channel 12 news video crew came by and did a story. The hunt starts today, but the inclement weather may dissuade hunters from participating. Hopefully, future black bear hunts will be cancelled as more New Jersey citizens mobilize and continue to make their voices heard.

Here are some photos from the December 7, 2013 protest.
