That Mitchell and Webb Look TV movie review

I briefly mentioned the comedy Peep Show during my 8 Great Shows Streaming on Netflix post during May of 2012, and I talked about Robert Webb and David Mitchell when I reviewed their movie Magicians, but today, I want to bring the sketch comedy show That Mitchell and Webb Look to your attention, because it is awesome.

That Mitchell and Webb Look is both conventionally and yet unconventionally funny, often at the same time. For example, there’s the "Now We Know" sketch, which is hilarious… I guess it’s just the repetition, it’s so simple… I’m not exactly sure why it’s so hilarious, but it’s amazing.

Here’s a brief list of some of my favorite reoccurring sketches from That Mitchell and Webb Look to serve as a testament to the show’s awesomeness.

The Surprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

This… wow. I love everything about "The Surprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Caesa;" the writing, camera work, costumes… it’s just genius.

Angel Summoner and BMX Bandit

You’ve got to love a good super hero gag. Again, not especially complex, but incredibly effective.

Number Wang

I’m not certain if it’s necessarily Number Wang the sketch that I find so funny, but, as the series progresses, the Number Wang related sketches, such as the home version of Number Wang.

That Mitchell and Webb Look is available via Netflix streaming – check it out!
