Here’s the third episode of “I’m Married to Batman!” and in my opinion, this is the best of the series. There are two more after this, but it’s all down hill from here. This episode is a hodgepodge of iconic lines from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
This was filmed using a Canon VIXIA HF M300 and edited in Adobe Premiere CS 5.5. I used a 500 LED light as my key and an old ground row light for fill. I fill the gaps in as best I can with some simple work lights, but as you can see, there are severe color issues that I don’t know how to correct. I recorded the theme song in Adobe Audition – that’s me on vocals singing into a shotgun condenser mic as that’s the only mic I have right now. The piano and drums are all via keyboard, plugged in via direct line, which I plugged into an M-Audio box. That’s me in the batsuit and Dr. Girlfriend as Batman’s wife. We used the shotgun condenser mic to record the dialogue, but we still got a ton of noise. I used Adobe Audition to remove the hiss, and it worked fairly well, but for some reason, every slice of the knife sounded like a gun going off after the processing. In case you’re curious, that’s a sweet potato I’m cutting up.
