Because kids don’t have enough ways to hurt themselves these days?
I know that sticking a known brand on a product is an easy way to sell something, but this seems like an odd paring. The Amazing Spider-Man and pogo sticks go together like… uhm… a spare tire and a piano.
Or, to put it another way, they don’t go together at all.
This just brings to mind so many questions:
- Why would a kid want a pogo stick in the 21st Century? They weren’t that fun in the first place, and they certainly can’t compete with video games from any era, never mind a bike.
- How many kids have to be hurt by the death trap that is the pogo stick before they get pulled off the market for good? It’s not like I’m making this shiz up.
- Again, I don’t see the correlation between Spider-Man and the pogo stick. But, I guess Angry Birds doesn’t have anything to do with fruit snacks, but that happened, so there you go.
